Multifunctional Guggul Resin significantly improves skin elasticity of the skin and its regenerative capabilities within Healpsorin Emollient Balm plumps the skin from within for a radiant appearance. (2)
Most of the research on guggul’s ability to treat these and other skin irritations has investigated the effects of guggul extracted. Guggul-enriched emulsions have been shown to improve itchiness, redness or skin discolouration, and inflammation in people with Psoriasis and Eczema. (3)
A study evaluated that a Guggul Resin based emulsion specifically developed to treat skin reactions that occurred as a side effect of radiotherapy treatment for breast cancer found that the cream improved skin symptoms, such as redness, inflammation, tenderness, and pain, as well as reduced the need for topical steroid creams for treatment. (4)
Dextran
A water-soluble sugar-like polysaccharide with soothing and water-binding skin-plumping properties that helps the skin maintain hydration. (5)
A by-product of fermentation, Dextran works to repair the skin and form a skin protective barrier from external pollutants. (6)
In studies, Dextran was successful in the treatment of facial Rosacea where 95% of the patients tested wanted to continue the treatment due to its exceptional anti-inflammatory properties and treated rough chapped skin. (7)
Anti-inflammatory acclaimed Dextran has been demonstrated in various studies by Patrushev and Shekhtman (1973). The moisture retention properties displayed by Dextran demonstrate healthy cell tissue formation for a healthy natural barrier function. (8)

Studies backed by clinical trials have shown a reduction of dandruff scales (similar to symptoms of Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis and Seborrheic outbreak), after 4 weeks of treatment with a rinse of wash formulations. (10)
In studies, gentle on the skin Decalact displayed the best performance against other actives with chemical exfoliating properties such as Salicylic Acid. It also demonstrated its antimicrobial efficacy that can help to inhibit the uncontrolled growth of undesired germs. (11)

Cyanocobalamin
Produced through fermentation, Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) is a gentle vitamin that promotes the growth of healthy skin cells and helps to repair damaged and dry skin. (12)
Effectively preventing dryness, itching, and redness, Cyanocobalamin works exceptionally well for very dry, itchy, or inflamed skin. It is considered an effective therapeutic alternative to strong and sometimes more irritable prescription treatments. (14)
According to clinical studies, an emulsion formulated with Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) achieved just as good or even better effects than other alternatives to clear up Psoriasis, Dermatitis and Eczema (15). What's the difference between eczema and psoriasis?
Eczema and psoriasis are common skin conditions that can leave the skin dry, inflamed, cracked, and itchy. Eczema breaks down the skin’s natural barrier, making it less able to regulate its own moisture levels. Psoriasis is a chronic, autoimmune condition that stems from an overactive immune system that speeds up the turnover of skin cells. skin cells start to multiply much more rapidly than they should. The result? Itchy, scaly red patches on the skin known as plaques, as well as rough, white flaky skin known as scales.
